Steelhead
The Rogue Steelhead are known as some of the most catchable and abundant steelhead on the west coast. Aided by recent dam removals and stream restorations, its combination of hatchery and wild fish, where 70% of returning steelhead go through a half-pounder stage, make for some of the grabbiest fish on the planet. Don’t miss “Fly-Only” regulations in September and October during the peak of the Fall Steelhead return.
wild Cutthroat
Very aggressive and a beginner friendly fishery, these feisty acrobatic trout are quite the surprise when hooked! With increased fish numbers due to recent catch and release regulations, our spring trout trips on the Upper Rogue often see well over 50 fish hooked on dry flies per boat and some go to the trophy 20” mark! We feature Cutthroat trips during the peak of the Salmonfly hatch on the upper Rogue river. It’s Montana style dry fly fishing, in Oregon!
